Very few bootmakers still use such old-school techniques, partly because there's no outsourcing this kind of work – each boot is 100% handcrafted at the Reck \u0026amp; Sohn factory in southern Germany, and the finished products see daily use in the demanding environments of the nearby Swiss Alps. For an alpine boot, the Berglers are also reasonably flexible, with decent roll-off for comfort on high-mileage yomps.
